Crack MD5 hashes with Password pro

Cracking the hashes is something what I love to do in free time. I just thoght to write this article because I haven't posted anything technical for so long. In this post I'll show you to crack the MD5 hashes.
The MD5 Message-Digest Algorithm is a widely used cryptographic hash function that produces a 128-bit (16-byte) hash value. Specified in RFC 1321, MD5 has been employed in a wide variety of security applications, and is also commonly used to check data integrity. MD5 was designed by Ron Rivest in 1991 to replace an earlier hash function, MD4. An MD5 hash is typically expressed as a 32-character hexadecimal number.
MD5 is one in a series of message digest algorithms designed by Professor Ronald Rivest of MIT (Rivest, 1994). When analytic work indicated that MD5's predecessor MD4 was likely to be insecure, MD5 was designed in 1991 to be a secure replacement. (Weaknesses were indeed later found in MD4 by Hans Dobbertin.)
In future article, I'll cover the details regarding MD5 hash Algorithm but for now, time to crack the hashes.

• The utility I'll use is Password pro. Download it from here 
• You'll get it packed in a zip file. Extract it and click the passwordpro.exe file

• Open Notepad > copy the following code in it. I'm using this code for demonstration, you are free to use your code.

• Save the file as > hash.txt
• Now, go to passwordpro click on File > Import > select the hash.txt file which we created above.
• In the pop box select md5 as hash type and Hash:salt as line format

• Now go to Audit > select Brute Force Attack. You can also choose any other attack to apply.

• Press F4 to start the cracking.

• That's it. It'll crack the hash and you'll get the password. This may can take long time depending upon the complexity of the hashes.

So from now, don't get scared with the hashes just simply crack them.
