Upgrade From Windows XP2 to XP3 - Registry Trick

A Painless and Quick Upgrade from Windows Service Pack 2 to Service Pack 3 can be done by simple editing with registry.

1) go to Start > Run > type regedit
2) Now browse the following path

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM  \CurrentControlSet \ Control \ Windows


3) In the right pane double click on CSDVersion and change its value from "200" to "300".
4) Restart your computer.
5) Right click on My Computer and select properties. You'll see something like this.



  That's it. You have successfully upgraded from XP2 to XP3.
